This document explains how installation methods, operating conditions, and system use affect warranty coverage and safety for the Nexxus Whole-Home Water Filtration System. It defines operating requirements and responsibility boundaries related to installation, use, and ongoing operation of the system.
This Installation & Safety Agreement is incorporated by reference into the Oasis Water Technologies Terms of Sale & Use and Limited Warranty for the Nexxus system.
By purchasing the Nexxus system, the customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by this agreement. Acceptance occurs at the point of purchase and applies regardless of whether installation occurs at a later date.
Customer acknowledgment of this agreement may be obtained through electronic acceptance, including checkbox acknowledgment or electronic signature, and through completion of purchase.
Continued installation or use of the Nexxus system constitutes further acceptance of these terms.
The Nexxus system is designed to reduce certain contaminants when installed, configured, and maintained in accordance with Oasis Water Technologies specifications. No guarantee is made regarding specific water quality outcomes, which may vary based on source water conditions, filter selection, installation quality, operating pressure, and system maintenance.
Information regarding product certifications and performance standards is available on the Oasis Water Technologies website.
The Oasis Water Technologies mobile app is the primary communication method for system alerts and notifications.
Use of the app is strongly recommended. Failure to enable notifications or respond to alerts may limit Safer H2O’s ability to assist with system monitoring or support.
Battery failure or loss of connectivity does not, by itself, indicate a system defect.
Any customer-initiated modification to the Nexxus system that alters operating pressure, flow characteristics, electrical components, or system configuration voids all warranty coverage.
Pressure-altering modifications are considered critical and may result in immediate loss of warranty eligibility.
Where applicable, damage covered by homeowner, installer, or third-party insurance should be addressed through those providers. If Oasis Water Technologies responsibility is triggered under this agreement, Safer H2O will respond directly and may coordinate with installers, insurers, or other appropriate parties to facilitate a timely resolution.
The Nexxus system must be installed and operated in accordance with Oasis Water Technologies’ published specifications to perform as intended.
SaferH2O recommends installation by a licensed professional plumber or similarly qualified installer. Installation by a licensed professional plumber is a condition for eligibility for certain warranty protections described in this agreement; however, the use of a licensed plumber does not guarantee correct installation, system performance, or the absence of installation-related issues.
All installers, including licensed plumbers, are independent third parties. SaferH2O Corp does not endorse, supervise, control, or assume responsibility for the workmanship, methods, materials, or decisions of any installer, regardless of licensing status.
Do-it-yourself (DIY) installation is permitted. Systems installed without a licensed professional plumber remain eligible for the Manufacturing Quality Guarantee, but are not eligible for warranty coverage related to system performance, leaks, or installation-dependent outcomes.
Warranty coverage applies only to failures caused by verified manufacturing defects and does not extend to installation errors, improper configuration, inadequate support, incorrect fittings, or failure to meet operating specifications.
Regardless of installation method, Oasis Water Technologies guarantees the manufacturing quality of Nexxus system components. If any component fails due to a verified manufacturing defect, Oasis Water Technologies will replace the defective component with a new part at no charge. Oasis Water Technologies may request the return of the affected component for inspection and verification of the manufacturing defect. If a return is requested, Oasis Water Technologies will provide reasonable instructions for shipment and evaluation.
The Manufacturing Quality Guarantee for the Nexxus system is valid for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase of the Nexxus system.
This warranty applies solely to manufacturing defects in Nexxus system components and is subject to the installation, operating, and use conditions outlined in this agreement.
Warranty registration is required for eligibility for certain warranty protections.
Customers may be required to submit documentation verifying installation details, including but not limited to proof of professional installation,
installation date, and system location.
Submission of installation documentation is used solely to verify warranty eligibility and does not constitute approval, certification, endorsement, or validation of the installer, installation method, or workmanship by Oasis Water Technologies.
Oasis Water Technologies reserves the right to request additional information to confirm compliance with system specifications. Failure to provide required documentation may limit or void eligibility for warranty coverage beyond the Manufacturing Quality Guarantee.
This system is intended to be installed by licensed plumbers or qualified professional installers. Advanced DIY users may install the system at their own risk, subject to the limitations described in this document.
To reduce the risk of significant property damage, Nexxus must not be installed in crawlspaces or attics, including the highest elevation within a home. Installation in these locations voids full warranty coverage.
The Nexxus system must be operated within the following limits:
* Maximum water pressure: 110 PSI
* Operating temperature range: 40°F to 125°F
Operation near the upper temperature limit increases the risk of filter degradation as well as housing degradation.
The Nexxus system is designed to operate only within specified water pressure limits. Incoming water pressure must be evaluated and managed prior to installation to ensure the system operates within published specifications.
The installer is solely responsible for assessing incoming water pressure and implementing any required pressure regulation, valves, or protective measures\ necessary to maintain proper operating conditions. Oasis Water Technologies does not monitor, control, or adjust household water pressure.
Damage, leaks, reduced performance, or system failure resulting from excessive pressure, pressure fluctuations, improper plumbing configuration, or failure to maintain operating limits are not manufacturing defects and are not covered
under warranty.
If proper pressure control cannot be achieved, the Nexxus system should not be installed or operated until corrective measures are taken.
A dedicated upstream shut-off valve is required. Installation of a bypass valve is strongly recommended to allow isolation of the system during maintenance or service.
Initial system pressurization and leak inspection are part of a proper installation and are the responsibility of the installer. DIY installers are strongly advised to perform careful monitoring during the first pressurization.
The Oasis CoreTM device is powered by batteries. Customers are responsible for maintaining battery power and replacing batteries at each filter change.
Installation professionals are encouraged to review battery access and replacement with the customer at the time of installation.
Replacement batteries are available directly through Oasis Water Technologies.
Customers enrolled in the Delta Plan receive replacement batteries at no additional cost as part of their subscription.
Failure to maintain battery power may limit system monitoring effectiveness.
A visual inspection of the system is highly recommended during each filter change. Inspection should include checking for leaks, loose fittings, or abnormal conditions.
Oasis Water Technologies warrants that Nexxus system components are free from verified manufacturing defects under normal use and operating conditions when installed and operated in accordance with published specifications.
If a verified manufacturing defect directly causes a system failure, Oasis Water Technologies will, at its discretion, provide a reasonable remedy as described in this agreement. Manufacturing defects do not include issues caused by improper installation, installer error, incorrect fittings, inadequate support, improper torque, incorrect plumbing configuration, failure to meet pressure or environmental requirements, or other workmanship-related conditions, regardless of installer qualifications.
Oasis Water Technologies is not responsible for leaks, water damage, or property damage resulting from installation errors, improper configuration, excessive pressure, modifications, pre-existing plumbing conditions, or failure to comply with installation and operating requirements. In the event of any suspected issue, the system should be shut off immediately and inspected before continued operation. Failure to take reasonable steps to
prevent further damage may limit or void applicable warranty coverage.
Oasis Water Technologies is not responsible for failures caused by pre-existing plumbing conditions, including corroded pipes, aging fittings, or existing leaks. Customers are encouraged to work with their installer to inspect the surrounding plumbing prior to installation and to address any pre-existing conditions that could affect system performance or safety.
Post-installation modifications that alter operating pressure, connection points, or system configuration are prohibited unless approved by Oasis Water Technologies.
Third-party components may be used only if they do not alter the intended operation or pressure limits of the Nexxus system.
Relocation of the Nexxus system may affect system performance and warranty eligibility. Any relocation must be performed in accordance with Oasis Water Technologies’ published installation and operating specifications.
Warranty eligibility following relocation is contingent upon proper reinstallation of the system, including compliance with mounting, pressure, plumbing
configuration, filter staging, and operating requirements. Oasis Water Technologies does not endorse, supervise, or assume responsibility for the workmanship of any individual performing a relocation, regardless of licensing status.
Oasis Water Technologies is not responsible for damage, leaks, or performance issues arising from relocation, reinstallation errors, improper configuration, or failure to meet system specifications. Manufacturing defects remain covered under the Manufacturing Quality Guarantee, subject to the terms of this agreement.
Customers are encouraged to visually inspect the system and consider shutting off the main water supply before extended absences.
Proper filter placement is required for the Nexxus system to operate as designed. System performance, monitoring accuracy, and filtration outcomes
are dependent on each filter being installed in its designated stage.
Incorrect filter placement may result in reduced filtration effectiveness, improper system operation, or damage to system components. Filter placement errors are considered an installation issue, not a manufacturing defect.
The Nexxus system operates using three sequential filtration stages, which must be configured as follows.
Stage 1 — Sediment Filtration
Filter: Oasis Water Technologies Sediment Guard
Required Placement: Always Stage 1
The Sediment Guard protects downstream filters and system components by removing sediment and particulate matter before water enters subsequent filtration stages.
Helpful identification tip:
The Sediment Guard filter is Oasis Water Technologies Turquoise, matching the color of the Nexxus system housings. This filter must always be installed in Stage 1, regardless of the selected filter pack.
Stage 2 — Targeted Contaminant Filtration
Depending on the selected filter pack, Stage 2 must contain one (1) of
the following filters:
* Lead Barrier Pro — Yellow
* VOC Guard Max — Green
* Heavy Metals Defense — Purple
Only one Stage 2 filter is installed at a time, based on the filter pack selected at purchase. Stage 2 is designed for targeted contaminant reduction and must remain in this position to function as intended.
Stage 3 — PFAS / PFOS Filtration
Filter: PFOS Ultra
Required Placement: Always Stage 3
The PFOS Ultra filter is engineered for PFAS/PFOS reduction following upstream sediment and targeted contaminant filtration.
Helpful identification tip:
The PFOS Ultra filter is Orange and must always be installed in Stage 3.
Important Notes
Filter color is provided as a visual reference aid only and does not replace proper stage placement requirements.
Filters must always be installed in their designated stages, regardless of color.
Reordering, swapping, or misplacing filters may compromise system performance and monitoring accuracy.
If assistance is needed, customers are encouraged to partner with a licensed professional installer.
If a verified manufacturing defect in the Nexxus system directly causes a failure of the affected component or system while the system is installed and operated in accordance with this agreement, Oasis Water Technologies will, at its discretion, provide a reasonable remedy intended to address the specific defect.
Such remedies may include replacement of the defective component, technical support, coordination with the installing professional, or reimbursement of direct, reasonable repair costs caused solely and directly by the verified manufacturing defect, to restore the affected area to its prior condition. Oasis Water Technologies’ total liability, if any, arising from or related to a manufacturing defect in the Nexxus system shall be limited to the lesser of:
1. The purchase price of the Nexxus system, or
2. The direct, reasonable repair costs caused solely by the verified manufacturing defect. In no event shall Oasis Water Technologies be liable for incidental damages, including but not limited to secondary damage, loss of use, loss of enjoyment, or damages resulting from installation errors, improper configuration, pressure-related issues, pre existing plumbing conditions, or modifications to the system.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory asserted and is subject to
the dispute resolution provisions set forth in the Terms of Sale.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Nexxus system or this agreement shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution and arbitration provisions set forth in the Oasis Water Technologies Terms of Sale & Use, which are incorporated herein by reference. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
